1927-D Peace Dollar Value
Mintage: 1,268,900
Finest Known: MS66+ (NGC) MS66+ (PCGS)
Auction Record: $176,250 (MS66+)
The 1927-D was the largest 1927 mintage of the three mints, but that was a low bar to clear when the other two didn’t even hit 900,000 coins. The 1927-D was still a low mintage in overall terms.

The Value of a 1927-D Peace Dollar
A mysteriously low number of survivors combined with the generally poor conditions of those that have survived make the 1927-D a conditional rarity. Abrasions abound on most 1927-Ds. As is usual for a Denver mintage, the 1927-D Peace dollar shows softness in the strike on the center high points.
