Shipping Costs

Some dealers spend a lot of time advertising their free shipping offers. Here’s the truth about our competitors who claim to ship your metals for free: they build those “free” shipping costs into their prices and premiums. In the end, you do end up paying for shipping. We encourage you to compare prices of different online sellers and see for yourself that this is the case: Even with shipping fees, our total costs are oftentimes lower for the same products than sites that offer free shipping.

It’s like the economists always say: “There’s no such thing as a free lunch.” Whenever someone tells you something is free, realize that there is always an associated cost. That cost is either hidden within premiums or passed along to certain customers (usually bulk orders) when something is supposed to be “free.”

Using the Shipping Cost Calculator

We provide a simple way to calculate how much your shipping rate will be before you place your order. Simply add the items you want to your shopping cart, then enter your zip code into the shipping calculator to find out.

Shipping Time

Shipping you the metals you purchase on-time is a vital part of our business. We strive to do everything we can do to provide the customer with accurate estimated delivery times and overall timely service.

Estimated shipping times are always provided in the email confirmation that accompanies completed orders. If you pay by check, be aware that there is also a processing time of 10 business days from the time we receive your payment for the check to clear, which adds to the estimated shipping time.

Due to the nature of the bullion business, some orders occasionally become delayed. Even brief hiccups in the normal flow of the supply chain from our distributors can result in extra time to ship these products. We always promptly notify our customers of any delays, and do everything we can to accommodate delays by giving customers the options to switch to comparable in-stock options when they are available.

Shipping Options

You have a choice between having your order shipped by the United States Postal Service (USPS) or by UPS 3-Day Select, UPS 2-Day Air, and UPS Next-Day Air.

All orders are covered by full shipping insurance.

Storage Shipments

All storage shipments to Unites States only.

International Shipping

Gainesville Coins ships all around the world! International orders must be paid for in full by bank wire, as we only accept international credit cards for the purposes of authorizing orders. The authorization hold for international orders is 10% of the wire amount. As in regular wire transfers, this 10% authorization is only to lock in prices, and will be voided once we receive your wired funds. If the order is cancelled or no payment is received, the 10% authorization will be captured in accordance with our cancellation policy.
