Impressive low premium bullion coin!
Sunday, February 4, 2018
"That's no coin...it's a space station!" That's the sentiment most people express (if not always in those exact words) when first handling one of these massive bullion coins. Their heft that comes from their large diameter and thickness that crams a big 1.2057 ozt. of gold into one piece just blows away any preconceptions about what a gold coin can be. Their well-known characteristics and edge lettering and the extra scrutiny people give them for their high value make them less attractive to counterfeiters as well. Get yours from a well established seller like Gainesville Coins and you'll have the satisfaction and peace of mind that comes from having these awesome coins in your stack!

What a cool coin! I normally stick to purchasing eagles and maples but took a chance with the 50 Peso and glad I did. Mine is dated 1947 and the coin is awesome in person. I also got it at a great price from the clearance page. Gainesville is great as always.

great coin, very big coin which almost as big as some 1oz silver rounds. They have a pretty design and are usually cheaper than the other big bullion coins.

Great big coin

These are some of my favorite coins. The design is exquisite and the coin's heft is impressive. Gainesville Coins has one of the lowest premiums on these coins anywhere and I wish I had discovered this dealer a couple of years ago. Whether a person is buying gold as an investment, hedge against inflation or as a collector these are a must. The low premium make these a great buy for the investor and hedger while the awesome design make it a welcome addition to most collections.

artistic

I like having a scantily clad woman/ angel/ liberty on any "money", but besides the artistic beauty of the coin, it has an ultra-low mark up, especially @ gainesvillecoins.

Good Coin, Great Price

Gold Centenarios have one of the lowest premiums and have more than one ounce of gold. I don't know why anyone would buy other gold bullion coins. Most regular gold bars have higher premiums. This is a coin. Seems like a no-brainer if you're just interest in gold content. More for me I guess. :)
